The importance of knowing when to take a break

0

There are many times in life when our mind, body and spirit signals to us that it’s time for a break. Sometimes we get so caught up in moving through our day to day tasks that we get stuck on “autopilot” just going through the motions.

There are a number of ways that you can take a break without “breaking up.” Taking a break may mean simply altering your routine. Take a weekend off and go to a resort with your girlfriends, or go on a fishing trip with your buddies.  Be creative in how you find ways to give yourself the space and time to care for yourself. If we learn to take better care of ourselves, we will ultimately be better teachers, co-workers, friends, and partners.
